Message	actually, I did it the neanderthal way, by holding the rod upside-down in a vice and whacking them straight out with a hammer. this was shown to me by a machinist who I actually trust. He felt confident it was OK to do this way. _MWS Crash Test Dummy(tm) "taking it on the chin so you don't have to..."
